Ooms Nederland Holding has developed and produced a range of products and systems that considerably increase the life span of asphalt concrete pavements. This is essential because of higher traffic intensities, resulting in accelerated deterioration of the asphalt concrete quality. Sealoflex® can restrict or prevent this.

Sealoflex® comprises a group of modified bituminous asphalt binders whose:

  • high resistance to fatigue
  • low susceptibility to temperature
  • and high elasticity

give it better, longer-lasting resistance to the effects of increasing traffic intensities, greater axle loads and tire pressures on asphalt concrete pavements.
Sealoflex® therefore prevents:

  • fatigue
  • permanent deformation
  • surface cracks
  • and reflective cracking.

A variant of Sealoflex® is Sealoflex® SFB 5 JR. This product resists the effects of mineral oils, which makes it ideal for asphalt concrete pavements in places where there is a risk of oil leaks, such as:

  • airports
  • bus lanes
  • around storage tanks
  • and gas stations.
