This is essential because of higher traffic intensities, resulting in accelerated deterioration of the asphalt concrete quality. Sealoflex^® can restrict or prevent this.

Sealoflex^® comprises a group of modified bituminous asphalt binders whose:

• high resistance to fatigue
• low susceptibility to temperature
• and high elasticity
  

give it better, longer-lasting resistance to the effects of increasing traffic intensities, greater axle loads and tire pressures on asphalt concrete pavements.
Sealoflex^® therefore prevents:

• fatigue
• permanent deformation
• surface cracks
• and reflective cracking.
  

A variant of Sealoflex^® is Sealoflex^® SFB 5 JR. This product resists the effects of mineral oils, which makes it ideal for asphalt concrete pavements in places where there is a risk of oil leaks, such as:

• airports
• bus lanes
• around storage tanks
